What Is Ginseng?

Panax ginseng (Korean ginseng) has been one of the most well-known and commonly used herbs throughout history. It is used both as a supplement and as a functional food, especially in Southeast Asia. It is considered the ideal adaptogen plant for fatigue, weakness, and stressful situations.

The term adaptogen was first used by Russian scientists to describe plants that increase the body’s resistance to various stressors ( that provide adaptation). Accordingly, a good adaptogen must be able to correct the imbalances caused by stress and not cause any toxic or side effects. The most widely known and used adaptogenic herb is Ginseng.

What Is Matcha?
